Sirankai Corporation has completed
the contract “Fundamental contract about knowledge transfer of intellectual property
right” with Kyoto University on 12th of October 2004 which was revised on 16th
of October 2006. Sirankai promotes knowledge transfer activity through dispatching
technical and innovative information including patents, research outcomes from
medical field to society. Specific activities are listed below.

Agency and negotiation about knowledge transfer for companies
wish to share technical information owned by Kyoto university
3.
Contract completion support related to decided knowledge transfer
with the company
4.
Agency and contract completion support for joint research based
on technical information owned by Kyoto university between university and the
third party
Our negotiation about patent licensing
follows licensing policy stated below.
1.
For the license of patent to be used as research tool, non-exclusive license is granted as long as it is used for research purpose
only.
2.
For the license of patent which may relate to business as pharmaceutical
or diagnostic medicine such as substance patent and method patent it is possible
to grant exclusive license.
